Lately I haven't been in the best shape. I'm not sure if it's the oppressively bad, muggy weather we've been having here or if I'm coming down with something or what. I've been worn out, gotten little sleep, haven't been eating much and it's effecting pretty much every activity during my day (what little I have). I dunno, things have felt "off" lately, maybe it's just time to get off my lazy ass and get onto something, but I worry about that because then I have to cut back on time I DO spend with other people Anyway, if I seem odd or anything, you have an idea of what might be up. I have to clean and re-arrange my room this week and get a few projects out of the way.
On another note, as some of you may know I'm an avid RPer (pretty much the only writing I get done anymore), but some of you might also know that I'm a huge fan of table-top games and recently I was introduced to Roll20.net, an online table-top host site that has tons of features for making and running games with friends over the internet. It's all in-browser without the need to download anything and includes options for adding sound and music tracks to your game (which you can play multiple at once for ambient sfx and background music at the same time for immersion), multiple layers on the "table" so you can have the background maps and grids for the dungeons and fields, the ability to draw right on the table and import our own art for maps and tokens (miniatures) and of course random number generators for dice rolling. There's tons of other things but for anyone interested in that sort of gaming, it's a great place to look into.
Anyway, what's everyone else been up to? My days are pretty boring for the most part until I get around other people, so nothing over here has changed much Catch you guys around, sorry for lack submissions or company.

Show Less Like This
DA, which of your devs is seriously into Foot Fetish stuff? I ask because I've been coming to my feed every day (more than once a day in many cases) for over a month now. Each day I scroll through the feed on offer and click those three dots and "show less like this" on the same three types of suggestions: Foot fetish, CGI and anime screens. Yet, despite having done this for over a month, my feeds have never changed. In fact, many of the same artists and at time same pics end up back in the feed regularly for me to remove. So I ask, what is the POINT of the "show less like this" feature? Does it work? Has it ever worked? Is it an ongoing bug you haven't said anything about? Should I be submitting a report for this very basic feature? Is it just another result of just how awful your Eclipse implementation has been and showcase exactly whey we never wanted it before you forced it upon us a few years back? Who knows! I certainly don't, but I do know that I've been putting in
DA Eclipse (currently)
I made a whole list of problems with DA Eclipse when it was first forced on the site, but after some months of launch, I want to emphasize... things aren't any better here. All of the issues I had with the initial launch of Eclipse haven't been fixed, and I'd venture several more have been discovered since then. Let's talk about the issues that have nothing to do with how visually ugly the thing is, just so people don't mistake this as purely a measure of aesthetics. 1) Certain quality of life functions, even the most basic ones, are gone. I used to be able to clear a stack of new submissions and would be immediately redirected back to my new submissions list. As things are right now, I just stare at an empty stack and have to manually click back over to my Watch tab. That's something so small, that I can't believe it doesn't exist here, it just creates more busy work for the end user for no reason. The feature used to exist, and now it's just gone without any reason. 2) I
Eclipse Performance Issues
My gawd, does Eclipse run like garbage! Is anyone else experiencing lag, freezing, random jumping around when attempting to just browse around DA lately? I've been trying to catch up on my notifications and fave some new submissions, but attempting to have more than one open at a time results in a lot of delayed functions as the site struggles to catch up with my clicking. Previous to this update, I barely had issues like this, unless the excessive amounts of ads were lagging things up, but I blocked those to improve performance.
The New Face of DA
So I have to admit, Eclipse does resemble the visual equivalent of a coat hanger abortion. It wouldn't be so bad if it was simply just the aesthetic I didn't like, but with how everything's been re-arranged, I find it hard to do anything. Nothing is in a convenient spot, where once I could get anywhere in just one or two clicks takes three or four as subcategories keep getting clustered together. It took me five minutes just to figure out how to submit a new journal alone, and my New Submissions feed is a mess. I can actually imagine some people would lose viewership over the sheer inconvenience of the new layout and grouping conventions. Yeah, Eclipse is a bad idea, and now more than ever, I'm glad DA doesn't get a penny from me for either Subscriptions or Ads.

I have performances today and Thursday and I caught the fever that the rest of the band have. I intended to go out job-hunting, but the fever kept me inside. I'm staying up drinking cocoa and waiting for my husband to wake up to go to work and hoping and praying I can sing later.
I might check out that site, last time I did a table-top it was pretty fun. I prefer text-based RPs, though.
I've been writing songs, practicing songs, working on music videos, editing bases, and RPing with my friends and family when they get on. I also have a splitting headache. I watched Animorphs earlier, but I put that down because the sharp camera-swerves were hurting my head.
You've been submitting more than I usually do.
