Okay so everyone and their grandmother have been complaining about the recent changes to DA and really I wouldn't care, but I did have a couple of concerns to point out.  Now for the most part my messages, notes and profile pages aren't tampered with.  The one exception was them adding a Recent Activity widget to my profile that was easily removed.  My key concern is thus...I've had many of the same submissions on the front page for the past three days.  This means I'm not really seeing anything new and how are we supposed to notice new and aspiring artists if we don't get any kind of new updates on the front page where we'll see them right away.  I know it's a relatively small thing, but I don't think half my work would have been viewed if people weren't watching for what new was popping up around here when they logged in.  Second problem, how does the front page pick which submissions are just thumbnails and which ones get to be blown up to get noticed more easily?  I mean how does it priorities that?  Furthermore, it looks just plain ugly and amateurish from a graphical standpoint.  I dunno, it doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it really was a case of fixing what wasn't broken and making it worse.
